Everyone at the University of Leeds has access to the Office 365 suite, including 5 terabytes of OneDrive storage, through your University account. This also includes 5 download of Office 365 Pro Plus for PC, Mac, or mobile device, as well as access to the Office toolset online through a browser.
Using Office 365 apps allows your students to collaborate in real time and is excellent for setting group tasks. As well as the standard Office Apps such as Excel, Powerpoint and Word, you also have access to Yammer for setting up online forums and Class Notebook for sending out pre-formatted NoteBooks to students.
All staff and students have access to Microsoft Teams – a central hub to meet, work, share and chat. There are many useful features for staff to use:
You can access Office 365 by going to http://office365.leeds.ac.uk and logging in with your University of Leeds username (with @leeds.ac.uk on the end) and password.
For more information on accessing Office 365, as well as for information on downloading the software to your own computer, please see the central IT guidance on Office 365.
